Our Journey at Nuraxys
Nuraxys GmbH has been founded in 2022 in Overath, Germany, with the goal to optimize the passenger experience in autonomous buses and highly automated vehicles.
The name Nuraxys derives from Nuraxi, a Sardinian name for a tower structure, which developed throughout the Sardinian island during the 2nd millennium BC. These towers, now a UNESCO heritage site, are known for their robust architecture and innovation. At Nuraxys GmbH we follow the same principles and strive to create solutions that are both innovative and robust.
Dr. Alessandro Becciu
Founder & CEO
Alessandro was born in Sardinia, Italy. He has several years of experience as a group leader of multisite engineering teams located in Europe, Asia and north America for ZF AG, a global ADAS Tier 1 supplier. He has over 15 years of academic and industrial experience in camera, radar and ultrasound systems for driving assistance systems, security systems and medicine applications.
Alessandro has a PhD in image analysis from the Technical University of Eindhoven, the Netherlands, and certificates in project management as well as in entrepreneurship.
