On Friday, November 21, Dr. Alessandro Becciu had the honor of being invited speaker at the 11th VDV Omnibustage Conference of the Association of German Transport Companies (VDV). The conference brings together leaders of the German transport industry to discuss new challenges.
Dr. Alessandro Becciu spoke about how passenger safety can be improved through the use of AI-supported camera solutions. This sparked stimulating discussions among the audience.

Nuraxys is on the magazine Der Nahverkehr

A beautiful article about the project done in cooperation between Nuraxys, the Smart data innovation Lab (SDIL) and the German center for the artificial intelligence (DFKI) has been published on the magazine “Der Nahverkehr”. Der Nahverkehr is the leading monthly magazine for public transport in German-speaking countries. This article has shown how a good cooperation between a high-tech startup like Nuraxys and research institutions provides high accuracy solutions to challenging topics such as detection of critical situations and violence.
Nuraxys is part of the Bergsteiger Accelerator program

Nuraxys has been selected to be part of the accelerator program “Bergsteiger Accelerator”. This program of the city Solingen will provide Nuraxys with additional help and mentorship to grow and establish itself as a technology startup.
Nuraxys got third place at the pitch competition Berg-Pitch/Automotive-Pitch
April 2025
The berg-pitch is the largest public startup event in the Bergisches Land region. Here, founders present their startup ideas to a public audience in just six minutes. Several startups from all Germany participated to the competition presenting innovative solutions in the field of automotive. The jury and the panel were composed by high ranking experts of automotive and company business. Nuraxys ranked third in the final and has won a working space at the Solingen-Business offices. 🙂
Nuraxys is part of the KI Schmiede accelerator program
February 2025
Nuraxys has been selected to be part of the KI Schmiede accelerator program. This program has focus on AI startups. The program will start in February and will last until June 2025. It will cover topics such as business development, scaling, access to an extensive network of mentors and investors. This is a great opportunity to empower and further develop Nuraxys.
